Sweet Baby Carrots

We’ve been a bit proud of those carrots you all have been getting.  Here is a little recipe to sweeten it up even more.  May not be the most “nutritious” but its certainly a treat.

Ingredients:

1 bunch Baby Carrots

1/2 cup of Butter

3 tablespoons Honey

1/2 cup Brown Sugar

Directions:

1) Place carrots into a large pot and cover with salted water.  Bring to a boil over high heat until tender, about 15 minutes.  Drain and allow to steam dry for 1-2 minutes.

2) Return the pot to the stove; reduce heat to medium-low.  Melt the butter in the pot.  Stir in the honey and brown sugar; add the carrots and stir until evenly coated; cook another 5 minutes.
