Limited Fall Volunteer Days

ECO will be hosting a volunteer days at the Bladensburg Farm with a limited number of volunteers. We plan to offer more regular opportunities in the Spring. 

Join us at ECO City for a morning of work at our Bladensburg location, a 3.5 acre working urban agriculture farm where organic vegetables are grown and composting happens! Our food is distributed locally to CSA members (Community Supported Agriculture) and donated to seniors in need. 

Work varies by season but volunteers can generally expect to help out with weeding, mulching, bed prep and planting. Volunteers should come prepared to work outside (closed toes shoes, long pants/sleeves recommended, water, sunblock/hat). Come out and see how we implement sustainable growing practices to advocate for health and wellness in our daily lives, community, and the environment!
